He re-enlisted on 15/8/1914 and disembarked with 2nd Bttn on 11/12/1914.  George retuned Home on 7/1/1915 and posted to 3rd Bttn on 14/3/1915. He was discharged with SWB and Pension on 2/7/1916.  Myalgia due to service with 20% incapacity. 63 Walshaw St, Oldham Ln.  George died on 30/8/1920.  Widow Mary Alice.  The disease had been contracted after discharge.
