Pte 3916 Thomas Evans

Pte Evans (Born 1887) enlisted in 5th Bttn on 28/7/1915 and did not serve overseas.  He was discharged with sickness & SWB on 24/1/1916.  Thomas died from Cardiac Disease and Bronchitis on 21/1/1920.  His widow Ellen received a pension of 15/ per week. 7 Kerfoot St, Leigh.  They had no children. No evidence to show the conditions were attributable to service. Q1 1920 Leigh 8c/282.
