Sgt Buchanan (born 1887) enlisted 4/12/1914 and served overseas with 23rd Bttn after 1915.  He was discharged from Depot with unknown sickness on 1/1/1917 and MID in LG 4/1/1917 Pg 236. 16 Alderley St, Hulme.  Albert died from chronic bronchitis  and congestion of lungs on 2/12/1920, aged 33.  Reg Chorlton 8c/969.  Burial on 6/12/1920 at Southern Cem. U.C.1017. His widow Gertrude Fanny died on 10/12/1920 and their daughter Minnie had a Pension via her Guardian Sarah Warren / Adshead, 48 Radnor St, Hulme.
