Pte Penlington enlisted in 23rd Bttn on 26/11/1914, aged 19y 2m.  He served overseas in 23rd & 11th Bttns 29/1/1916-12/3/1919.
Thomas was transferred to Reserve on 10/4/1919. No disability.
Thomas died from Lobar Pneumonia on 26/9/1919.
Parents Thomas & Jane Penlington. 218 Gorton Ln, Gorton.
