Pte Unsworth (Born 1884) enlisted on 10/12/1915 and served overseas with 2/5th Bttn, reported wounded 8/4/1918.  He was discharged from the Depot with a SWB and Pension on 28/11/1919, aged 36.   GSW R Elbow. John died at Monsall Hospital, Newton Heath on 27/2/1920 due to GSW R Elbow, aged 36. Prestwich 8d/530.  Buried Southern Cemetery U 643 2/3/1920.
John's widow Sarah Jane received a Pension. 86 Devenport Ave, Withington.  The couple had married 4/1/1911.  John was a window cleaner.
The wounds must have been complex, or John would have been discharged earlier.  Hence I wonder if the cause of death is related to the wounds.

I'd missed the cause of death as GSW before. Pte Unsworth now appears to be a strong case.
ps While it seems likely John Unsworth was shot while serving, we need evidence to prove it wasn't post-discharge for NAM.
