Ernest served overseas with 2/10th & 1/10th Bttn after 1915. Cause of discharge unknown.  He died from acute synovitis on 5/7/1920.  Pension refused to his widow Jane E, as they had married after discharge. 18 Brock St, Macclesfield.

died in Macclesfield infirmary
