Pte 301978 Thomas Tighe

Pte Tighe had previously been discharged from the RAMC when he re-enlisted and served overseas in 1/8th Bttn, after 1915. He has an extensive medical and disciplinary record.  He was transferred to Class P (He had been a miner) 29/8/1918 and received a Pension.  Thomas died from Chronic Alcoholism on 27/2/1920.  His widow, Martha Ann was refused a Pension. 1 Kays Yard, Vaudrey St, Stalybridge.
