Pte 9373 James Archer

Tim Bell

Pte Archer (Born 1885) enlisted on 11/11/1903.  He joined the BEF with 2nd Bttn on 11/9/1914.
James was discharged with wounds on 6/6/1916.  He received a SWB and Pension for Dysentery attributable to service and 60% disablement.
James died on 10/5/1921, aged 34.  Disease n/k. Warringon Q2 1921 8c/207.
Pension to Parents Elizabeth & James of 33 Hoyle St, Warrington.  Illeg son Norman Archer Watkins, born 10/5/1919. His Gaurdian (Mother?) also received a Pension.  Gladys May Watkins of 46 Hoyle St.

He's not on Warrington's online database, but I believe those records aren't complete. Have you tried the cemetery office at Warrington?

I may try when I'm back from travelling in 2 weeks. Thanks for the tip.
