Received 1914-14 Star for disembarking L/Sgt with 11th Bttn 14/7/1915. Discharged with a pension for a heart condition attributed to service. Died from acute nephritis and ?? convulsions 20/9/1920. Widow Jessie received £9 grant after pension initially refused 61 Lee Rd, Harpurhey.
If the Government paid the grant then I can only surmise they must have attributed his death to service.  I'll ask IFCP about William. 

Update 17/12/19 No available evidence to confirm that cause of death was related to service.
