Pte 21355 Robert Foster

Pte Foster was a Pensioner, enlisting in 1878 and serving in India and Egypt.  He enlisted again 1/4/1915  (aged 55y 1m) and was discharged 24/3/1916.  He had a pension for chronic bronchitis aggravated by service.  Pte Foster died 17/7/1920.  20 Hulme St, Oldfield Rd, Salford.

Robert Foster died at home of chronic bronchitis and heart failure, aged 63. A blacksmith striker at an iron foundary. Case to be submitted to IFCP.
Salford Weaste Cemetery. IFCP have plot no.
