Pte Kelly had been a Collier when he attested in 5th Bttn on 6/12/1915.  He was mobilised to 3rd Bttn on 20/3/1916 and served overseas with 2nd Bttn from 7/12/1916 to 23/5/1917.  He was later posted to 3rd Bttn and later posted to employment.
Michael was discharged unfit from 3rd Bttn with SWB on 9/1/1918. He had a pension for Mitral VDH. No MIl records to show agg or com
Michael died from disease n/k on 9/2/1920.
Mother Catherine, 28 Ellis St,  Whalley, Wigan. Pension awarded.
