Sorry I have tried to look on the forum, but can't find it. Can anyone ID this badge. I am confused by the C.

I looked on London Gazette site & found Hon Commissions in Manchester Cadets in 1891. Hence hard to place a date on these shoulder titles.
Following one Platoon and everything around them....
