Edwin Foster's case is still challenging.  He spent time in the trenches until he was captured and held as POW for almost 2 years. He died from Nephrites.  This is almost certainly a disease Edwin contracted in service, but we have no proof.  The success of the his Widow's pension appeal supports the case, but this isn't enough.
