3/9th manchesters
Enlisted 3/8/1915
1 moorfield st,hollingsworth
Embodied 3/8/1915
discharged 12-7-16 with TB resulting from service.
died 13-9-16 of TB, aged 19. Reg Ashton Q4 1916 8d/676??
Step Mother Sarah Annie and Father James Victor. Spinner.

Williams illness originated while in training at witley camp in april 1916,he was discharged on 12th july 1916 with TB,caused by ordinary service and exposure,and unlikely to get better,disability total,died two months later on 13th september

Willliam's Dependents Pension Card confirms he died from Pulmonary TB.  As this was attributed to service. DC confirms cause of death. Need Burial.

Burial record required for William Middleton in the Hollingsworth area.  I can't find him in the Ancestry records, but the indexing seems weak.

IFCP have found William Middleton's Burial in Tintwistle (Christ Church) Churchyard.  Burial 04/10/1916. Plot not identified.
