Can anyone please help with information where the 12th Battalion were on 24th August 1918, I am researching Sjt. 21932 George Kershaw killed on that date

The Bn moved to the Purple Line in front of Mailly-Maillet at 10pm on the 23rd in support of the 17th Division's attack on Thiepval Ridge. At 10.30am on the 24th the Bn moved to Thiepval Ridge and at 2pm moved further forward to keep in touch with the advancing attacking troops.
