pte 25914 Frederick,scott Lawson.13 hayden st,miles platting
Frederick enlisted on 13th November 1915 and was posted to the 27th reserve battalion,on 28th November he was admitted to Whitchurch cottage hospital suffering from acute bronchitis but sadly he died two days later.aged 36
Frederick and his wife mary had nine children, the youngest Isabella was born 27 days after her dad died, the war dept GENEROUSLY awarded mary 33 shillings for her and eight of the children, the oldest was overage,so therefore no pension was awarded to mary for this child.
this HUGE sum of money was to feed, clothe and hold a roof over the heads of his wife and nine children.
