Very sad news  indeed, I have lost contact with so many friends since moving down south.
Rest in Peace old friend.
George.

In my post this morning I have been advised by the son of Eric Parternaster, one of the former 2nd Battalion
lads who had served with it in the final days  just before Partition.
He used to drop in  along with a couple of his of his former mates as often as possible at Ardwick.

Rest in Peace now Eric.
