My Grandfather was in Italy with the 22nd Manchesters so you're photographs and "informations" are  fascinating. Thank you very much. I am now prompted to investigate the forthcoming publication.

Hi Fabio.

Fortunately for me he survived the war and so my Mother was born, here in Manchester, and I came along later.

I have attached a pdf from his medical record I located on 'Forces War Records' which shows he was treated for jaundice whilst in Italy. It may also have other information on there which will assist you.

Good luck with your studies and your research.

PS My Mother still enjoys holidays to Lake Garda not knowing her Father served in the mountains not all that far away!
