Title: Private 25691 Charles Bridge

Private Bridge had been a Labourer when he enlisted in 22nd Bttn on 15/9/1915. He was posted to serve at Home in 27th Reserve Battalion.
Charles was discharged from 27th Bttn on 16/10/1915.  He had TB that had not been caused by service.
Charles died on 2 July 1917, from acute Pulmonary TB and exhaustion aggravated by active service, aged 30.  Reg Q3 1917 Manchester 8d/181
Widow Mary Ellen and two of their four children received a pension at 13 Holbeck St, Oldham Road.

Charles Bridge died at home from TB & Exhaustion.  THe DC states has had been a Cloth Callender's Labourer.
No Headstone found.
