Can anyone tell me how I can find a court matial record for Hulme Barracks in 1860 please?

Also my person was held in jail for 2 yrs transportation. Where would this be?

Have you tried The National Archives?  His service record should be there also you might be interested in this link to their research guide for Courts Martial from 17th to 20th Centuries.
