A.coy,III platoon
enlisted sept 1914
landed in france.8-11-1915
age 21
son of thomas,henry+elizabeth ann henshall,25 clifton st,miles platting
worked for manchester corporation gas dept,in the stoves department.
killed near bapaume on 28-8-18 while serving with the 1/5th manchesters.
buried in warlencourt british cemetery
grave ref.IV.B.24
great uncle to tisgrannie AND kingo

tis e.mailed me last night asking for info on her great uncle,and it only struck me this morning where i had heard the name before.

theres a misunderstanding on my part,tis alerted me to andys post on the AVLs,i thought she was looking for joseph,

It had been there since Oct 23rd. I had read mack was down getting on aol and forwarded the message to him. I did put an explanation on the response that mack sent to me. I expected mack to answer via the query. Though I am sure it would be lovely to be related to this family I am not.
