1735 Pte James Meadows
« on: July 26, 2013, 10:48:50 AM »
Hello,

I am trying to find out which Territorial Bn. of the Manchester Regt this soldier was in in WW1.

He later joined the 5th Bn in 1920 but that may not have been his original Bn.

He is entitled to a SWB but doesnt appear in the online lists.

regards

Beware with enquiries to the library and Local Studies in Wigan if that's where the phone number is - they may charge you for a copy of the press cutting, can be a bit pricey!
