I'm going to post the General Routine Orders (GRO) for France each day.
GROs were important because they contain information the GOC deems important for the BEF.
GROs could loosely be described as the BEF's periodic newsletter from the Chain of Command they cover:
Army regulations.
Orders.
Instructions.
General Information.
They were published daily, weekly,monthly.
The first one to be by the BEF was on the 18th Aug 1914.
