Cpl Colin Taylor

It is with great sadness that report the passing of Cpl Colin Taylor,Colin was wounded in the face during an engagement with Malayan terrorists in 1953,Cpl Broadbent was KIA in the same engagement.

Very sad news  indeed, I have lost contact with so many friends since moving down south.

In my post this morning I have been advised by the son of Eric Parternaster, one of the former 2nd Battalion
 lads who had served with it in the final days  just before Partition.
He used to drop in  along with a couple of his of his former mates as often as possible at Ardwick.

Rest in Peace now Eric.
