Hi timberman I looked on the link but the deadline for the petition has gone. There were some people from the group at the Museum Meeting last month and were promoting a family day. It was the end of April I believe, It was the North west section. If you remember Capt Bonner gave a talk at the last meet on POWs.

Hi I am going to try and post the cover off a book I picked up at the last meet at the Museum. I Will get You one  timberman and Annie if there are any left at the next meet!

You don’t realize the diversity of the POW and the fact that it wasn’t just Military personnel and their families that ended up as POW. Some people where just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I remember Tenko on TV years ago. Woman with the Great British spirit. I also think of Germany although horrendous what happened to the Jewish people just as badly was the treatment of people who just didn't fit into the German Ideal.
Sick world we live in. Hard to forgive and forget!
