Trying to get info on Sec Lieu Ernest Edward Elwell

Ernest was the son of Alfred Elwell who owned and ran Elwell Forge (Elwell tools - look on ebay) in Wednesbury, West Mids which went on to be Spear and Jackson and now the site of IKEA!

I am going over to Tyne Cot in June as part of my annual visit to the Somme, and wanted to know where I can find anything about him - I expected to find more as a 2nd Lieu but found nothing so far.

He moved overseas to France 28th Oct 1914 with the Royal Engineers as a Cpl

at the time of his death,he was living at hanch house,14 Birmingham rd,walsall,he was killed at polygon wood on 6th October 1917,son of Margaret and the late Alfred elwell.

I think theres a picture of him in the Walsall observer Saturday 20-10-17 and again on 3-11-17.

i dont know what to say... thanks so much guys

im over next week to tyne cot where he has his memorial its makes it so much more close with this, i have pictures on him as a child but not in uniform.
