about this soldier ?? I heard he was a school teacher ........

hiya annie.
hes not listed in the national union of teachers or manchester education rolls of honour,he may have been a sunday school teacher.
in oct 1917,lance corporal 7031 joseph,william moss,16th manchesters,was living at 28 woodlands rd,gorton.

william was born at 6 lorne place,caldewgate,cumberland in 1890.
his father was a millwright in a engineering works
his brother peter also an engineer by trade, served with the queens regt,KSLI and RE.

Were you able to take a look at Peter's card ? .... that's pretty unusual isn't it ?

I was thinking that RE was his ultimate goal ..... but he started off there ... I just wonder why there were so many changes !
