10th manchesters killed by enemy aircraft

6-11-16
5 men from the 1/10th manchesters,were killed by a bursting bomb,dropped by an enemy aircraft,the men from B.coy,were all killed instantely,their company commander,captain cripper has written to their families,to express his sympathy.
the men were.
2392 albert shawcross.8 robinson st,ashton
5116 leonard fletcher
3608 james harrison.19 victoria st,lees
1648 harry holland.373 oldham rd,oldham
3611 alexander lockwood.64 vulcan st,oldham

mrs shawcross recieved a letter from her brother,who was in the same platoon as her husband,saying that he helped to dig their graves,all the platoon attended,and many more

I have a small photo (3*2 in) showing three wooden grave markers.
Following much searching and using ever increasing magnification they relate too.
3611 Lockwood A 2392 Shawcross A 3608 Harrison J.
