Rememberance Day 2009
« on: November 04, 2009, 10:20:35 PM »
Hi Folks, Well it has been a long time since this little fat bloke posted anything---sorry. Apart from the service of Rememberance at M/cr Cathederal on the 11th, is there a service / parade in the Ashton area geared towards our regiment this weekend?
Regards
'Oppy

The annual Service of Remembrance will be held in the Regimental Chapel in Manchester Cathedral on the 11th.  All are welcome but are reminded that they must be seated by 1030.

I understand that a service is being held in Ashton at the same time but there will not be any regimental presence there.

Thank you Robert, I had assumed that was probably the case. We will again be at the Cathederal service, and on Sunday attend our local Glossop service.
Thanks again
Peter
