Mack..... did you get the address from the absent voters list?

I found him on the electoral roll but it just says he's an absent voter due to a military occupation.... it doesn't mention regiment or regimental no.

Sorry I think my ignorance of all things military is shining through...........but I'm learning!! 

I have a copy of that medal card........ it doesn't mention any injuries or silver war badge but anything is possible!  It also doesn't mention any middle name or initial but I guess that doesn't mean it's not him.
he may not have been injured enough to qualify for a SWB,he was definately serving in 1917/1918,because he registered his vote from the above address during that time,hes the only thos,evan clark living in oldham at the time,ive never known monsstar[roy] to be wrong about a medal card,pretty sure thats your granddad.
