Pte 3058 Walter Taylor
Pte Taylor enlisted & embodied in 9th Bttn at Ashton on 12/11/1914. He had previously served 4 years in the Territorials.

Walter died from Pulmonary TB contracted on Active Service on 12/5/1915, aged 30. Buried on 15/5/1915 at St Stephen’s Audenshaw. Ashton Under Lyne Q2 1915 8d/612
Widow Alice and 2 children received a pension at 3 Pitt St, Audenshaw, Hooley Hill.

Walter Taylor died from TB contracted on active service.  DC on Hold* unless we get evidence to support the WFA card.

Walter Taylor died at home from TB commencing in service.  His widow was present.
Case submitted on WFA Card alone
