 :) hi everyone is it possible to get a list of all the men in this battalion in 1918? if so how ? ???

 :) i was watching something on the tv , something about an auction with medals , the guy there had a list of all the men that served in the particular reg and was collecting them all, how did it get this list? ???

hiya barry.
there is a way of compiling some sort of list,but it wont be a complete one.
the 2/6th batts numbers,range from 251001 to 252001.
if you use the free search engine on the national archives,just type in,manchester and 251001,then just change the number as you go along,you can churn out a lot of soldiers in a short space of time.
this is the system that me and kingo used on our 16th+18th batt databases.
