It is with deep regret that I have to inform the forum of the death of Major Leslie Benson Kings Regiment, formerly Manchester Regiment.Major Benson was commissioned from a warrant office to Captain QM,Major Benson was the QM at Fulwood Bks when I was posted there in 1968.
Major Benson was an excellent officer,a brilliant quartermaster and an officer who I held in high esteem.
