admitted to Prestwich mental asylum 21-12-16 died 10-2-1920
age 46
the reverend j.wilcockson wrote to the records and pensions offices asking them if there was any way of helping the family of Thomas,because they were starving

Thomas was a former member of the Scots Guards. He died from TB (so not qualifying with CWGC) and his widow did receive a Pension, although this was later paid to the Guardian of the children, who appear to he moved to N Zealand.  Desperatley sad.

thomas is commemorated by CWGC,hes buried in a unmarked neglected grave in farnworth cemetery,i wonder why he never got a CWGC headstone,he died in the asylum

we can delete thomas from the list
