Just a note to mention that , unfortunately, the speaker who had been arranged for this meeting is now unable to attend. It's doubtful whether a replacement will be found in time so, as back up, I may have to present part one of my talk entitled "Identifying the Dead - Identification tags 1869 - 1918" (either that, or "Trenchmaps in the Digital Age" which studies the replication of trenchmaps from the first reproductions printed in 1919 through the paper copies produced in the following decades to the modern digital imagery available today).
Also, and most importantly, the branch is in need of a new chairman. If anyone wishes to take up this role, please make your intentions known at the meeting.
